The extra padding on the top of the Men improve the shock absorption ability, which decrease the impact received.

The Himo attaches at the back of the Men, help to position the Men-Himo correctly, and prevent them to Move. This makes the Men easier to wear, and reduces the tearing of the futon due to friction, increasing the durability on that part of the Men.
